Adam Lanza killed 20 children at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut. There was no apparent motive for the slaughter of innocent children. Nor could there be a moral justification for such conduct under any circumstance. The emotional trauma of surviving students, parents and the community is also significant.
