Dr. Gordon is married to Susan Gordon who earned a Masters degree in counseling from Baylor University and is a creative arts teacher at Brookhaven College. She collaborates with Dr. Gordon with art therapy for children and conducts home studies. The Gordons have two children, Ami and Adam. Ami is a practicing real estate lawyer in San Antonio. She is married to Scott Henslee who practices dermatology. Adam Gordon is an ESL teacher who has just returned from a sabbatical teaching post in Japan.
